Descriptive Entry
Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of the SlideShare account maintained by Michael Edson, Director of Web and New Media Strategy, Office of the Chief Information Officer. SlideShare is a social network that allows users to share presentation slides and other documents, as well as those created by others, with their followers or the general public. The account was crawled twice, on May 23 and 29, 2013. Each crawl contains limited content, but, between the two, most of the content was captured. Most of the presentations were created by Edson while some were created by other professionals in related fields. Due to technical difficulties, presentations can only be opened after clicking the "slideshares" link under the "Follow" button in the upper left corner of the account homepage. The account was opened in 2009. Materials are in electronic format.
