This accession consists of the "Object of History: Behind the Scenes with the Curators of the National Museum of American History" website as it existed on July 14, 2014. The website is a joint venture with the George Mason University, Center for History and New Media. It provides lesson plans, curator talks, and other materials focusing on six objects. The website also includes an essay on using objects to study history and links to external resources. Due to technical issues, some multimedia elements, including the object tours, do not function properly. Materials are in electronic format.
