Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of two domains with mostly duplicate content maintained by Smithsonian Enterprises in association with the Air and Space Magazine. The domains, crawled May 11, 2014, utilize blog platforms and contain articles, blog posts, and image and video features encompassing every era of aviation and space exploration. Much of the content is generated based upon the collections of the National Air and Space Museum. Many of the blog content categories on the website had previously been standalone blogs which were consolidated in approximately 2013. The website has been back-populated with content dating from as early as 1987. Materials are in electronic format.
