Descriptive Entry
Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of a satirical pamphlet created by the Pick and Hammer Club of the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The Pick and Hammer Club was an organization within the Geologic Branch which began as a social group for young geologists that later created annual shows to poke fun at USGS bureaucracy and staff. This pamphlet appears to have belonged to Edwin N. Goddard, USGS Geologist, 1930-1949.
