This accession consists of one website and two blogs maintained by the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery website, crawled December 5, 2014, provides information about the museum and its collections, exhibitions, educational programs, and research programs. It also includes press releases and resources for teachers and students. This accession does not include detailed collection information. The "Eye Level" blog, crawled December 15, 2014, is dedicated to American art and the ways in which the nation's art reflects its history and culture. The blog was launched in September 2005. The Smithsonian American Art Museum Tumblr blog, crawled December 18, 2014, highlights works of art, exhibitions, events, and projects. It was launched in October 2013. Materials are in electronic format.
