Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of a website, crawled on April 28, 2015, for planning projects relating to the theme of "Earth Matters." The Earth Matters Project is the first scholarly project to bring together insights from diverse humanities and science perspectives to investigate the complex relationships between humans and the land upon which they live, work, and frame their days. The website was used as a collaborative space for a team of staff from across the Smithsonian Institution as well as staff from the University of Maryland. The website is no longer maintained. Most of the content appears to have been added in 2011. Materials are in electronic format.
