This accession consists of the Scientific Collections International (SciColl) website and blog. The mission of SciColl is to increase the return on investment that countries and institutions make in their scientific collections by catalyzing international and interdisciplinary collaboration. The SciColl Secretariat is hosted at the Smithsonian Institution. The website, crawled May 20, 2015, includes information about SciColl and its research initiatives and events. The blog, crawled May 22, 2015, features collections in the news. It was launched in September 2014. Materials are in electronic format.
