This accession consists of records that document the work of Arthur P. Molella while he was department chair of the Department of History of Science and Technology, 1983-1994. The materials document his correspondence with colleagues both within the Smithsonian and with outside organizations, his work in the history of science and technology, and his work on exhibitions. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, committee records, lectures and talks, exhibition proposals and outlines, floor plans, and other related materials. Some materials date from before and after Molella's tenure as department chair.
