This accession consists of six websites maintained by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). SAO, with the Harvard College Observatory, jointly administers the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA).
The software website for the CfA High Energy Astrophysics Division, crawled on June 16, 2015, includes basic information about available software. Software downloads are not included in this accession.
The SAOImage DS9 software has its own website which was crawled on July 7, 2015. It includes documentation and an image gallery. The software itself is not included in this accession.
The "Project Tanagra: Time Analysis of Grating Data" website, crawled on June 16, 2015, consists of a report on the project.
The "XJET: X-ray Emission from Extragalactic Radio Jets" website, crawled on June 20, 2015, serves as a clearing house for radio galaxies and quasars for which x-ray emission has been detected and is associated with radio jets.
The Package for Interactive Analysis of Line Emission (PINTofALE) website, crawled on June 4, 2015, consists of documentation of software tools developed to analyze spectroscopic data from optically-thin coronal plasmas. The software itself is not included in this accession.
The ProtoEXIST website, crawled on June 4, 2015, consists of documentation of a balloon-borne wide-field hard X-ray survey project, which is a prototype experiment for a next generation hard X-ray survey mission, the Energetic X-ray Imaging Survey Telescope (EXIST).
