This accession consists of the Smithsonian Books website as it existed on June 16, 2015. Smithsonian Books publishes a select list of trade nonfiction and illustrated books covering topics on which the Smithsonian Institution is an authority, such as history; science and technology; space, aviation, and military; art; and signature illustrated books, as well as works based on museums, collections, and artifacts. The website includes book descriptions, information for authors, and related information. Materials are in electronic format.
