This accession consists of program books and event programs published in association with the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The event was known as the Festival of American Folklife prior to 1998. Some materials were created by the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage's predecessor units, the Center for Folklife Programs and Cultural Studies, 1992-2000, and the Office of Folklife Programs, 1978-1992.
