This accession consists of field notes of Rector Duvall Mesler (c. 1879-1944), a geologist with the United States Geological Survey (USGS). He spent the majority of his career (1911-1944) as an assistant to Edward Oscar Ulrich. Materials also include scientific illustrations and negatives.
