This accession consists of program records documenting accepted applicants for fellowships, research positions, and internships at the Smithsonian Institution, with earlier records dating back to when the Office of Fellowships and Internships was known as the Office of Fellowships and the Office of Research and Training Services, respectively. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; applications; project descriptions; budget summaries; research proposals; reports; policies and procedures; agreements; and photographs.
