This accession consists of field notes of Richard S. Boardman (1923-2011), paleontologist with the United States Geological Survey (1952-1957) and the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Paleobiology (1957-1985). Boardman specialized in the study of Bryozoa. Materials also include scientific illustrations. Some materials are in electronic format.
Materials dated 2005-2006 consist of digital images of the field notes.
