This accession consists of records documenting the administrative activities of Ralph Rinzler during his tenure as Assistant Secretary for Public Service and as Assistant Secretary Emeritus, respectively. Earlier records date back to when Rinzler was Director of the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; meeting agendas and minutes; budget summaries; news releases and clippings; committee, conference, symposium, and special event information; lecture papers; photographs; exhibition information; and supporting documentation.
