This accession consists of the records that document the planning, development, and execution of the exhibition, Listening to Our Ancestors: The Art of Native Life Along the North Pacific Coast, which was at the National Museum of the American Indian Mall museum from February 3, 2006 to January 2, 2007 and at the George Gustav Heye Center from September 12, 2007-July 20, 2008.
People represented in the collection include Bruce Bernstein, assistant director, Office of Cultural Resources; Karen Kramer, curatorial museum specialist; and Rachel Elizabeth Goddard Griffin, curatorial research assistant.
Materials include correspondence, memoranda, exhibition charters, schedules, meeting agendas and notes, reports, contracts, budget records, exhibition scripts, notebooks, audio transcripts, press releases, and images. Some materials are in electronic format.
