This accession consists of records documenting exhibition programs created by the Division of Information Technology and Society at the National Museum of American History (NMAH), previously known as the Museum of History and Technology (MHT), 1957-1969, and the National Museum of History and Technology (NMHT), 1969-1980. A significant portion of the materials concern the planning of three proposed exhibition halls: the Hall of Physics and Astronomy, the Hall of Chemistry, and the Hall of Materials. Additional materials include architectural drawings of the Museum of History and Technology and the Arts and Industries Building. Additional exhibitions documented within the accession include: "Daum: One Hundred Years of Glass and Crystal" and "Aspects of Arts and Science." Materials include manuscripts; architectural drawings and floor plans; posters; sketches; and other related materials.
