This accession consist of records documenting the activities of the Public Affairs and Communications Department as well as press coverage of the National Zoological Park and its animals, facilities, exhibits, staff, events, and research. Materials include clippings, media reports, press packets, planning files, internal communications, talking points, images, notes, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. The department was previously known as the Office of Public Affairs.
