This accession consists of audiovisual recordings featuring the National Zoological Park (NZP) and its animals, staff, activities, events, research, medical procedures, and exhibitions. The majority of the materials were created by NZP. Others were created by news media and radio, television, and video production companies. Included in this accession are original footage, news segments, interviews with staff, B-roll footage, television productions, and related media types. Materials include video as well as a small amount of audio and photographic materials. Some materials are in electronic format.
