This accession consists of records documenting the activities of the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) in regard to the planning, execution, administration, and promotion of the major traveling exhibitions "In the Spirit of Martin: The Living Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.," "Jim Henson's Fantastic World," and "Star Wars: The Magic of Myth," as well as contracts for other SITES traveling exhibitions and rejected exhibition proposals. Staff represented in these records include Anna R. Cohn, Director; Frederica R. Adelman, Director of Exhibits; Stephanie McCoy-Johnson, Exhibition Proposal Coordinator; and Katherine Krile, Project Director.
