This accession consists of the Earth Optimism Summit website as it existed on April 6, 2017. The Earth Optimism Summit, held April 21-23, 2017, was a gathering of a diverse group of conservation-minded professionals and citizens to discuss and share solutions about how to preserve biodiversity, protect natural resources, and address climate change. The website includes information about the Summit and its program and advisors; related events; and the Smithsonian Conservation Commons. The website also includes a blog which launched in November 2016. Materials are in electronic format.
