Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of tweets using the hashtag "#ObjectsofWonder" between February 10, 2015, and March 7, 2017. Use of the hashtag was promoted on the microblog Twitter by the National Museum of National History (NMNH). Tweets using this hashtag referenced the upcoming exhibition "Objects of Wonder: From the Collection of the National Museum of Natural History" which opened on March 10, 2017. This accession represents the results of a search of Twitter on the "#ObjectsofWonder" hashtag, both by the museum and by the general public and was crawled on March 10, 2017. Some uses of the hashtag appear to be unrelated to the exhibition. The first use of the hashtag by NMNH was on September 16, 2016. Materials are in electronic format.
