This accession consists of records that document news releases regarding Smithsonian Institution exhibitions, programs, events, performances, and research activities put forth by the Office of Public Affairs. Also included are photographs of museum buildings, events, and exhibit construction and installation; as well as news release indexes and logs of the Office of Public Affairs. Some materials date to when the office was known as the Office of Information from 1965-1967. Materials include news indexes, microfiche and other related materials.
