This accession consists of contracts, agreements, and other related documents regarding the licensing and development of products related or based on Smithsonian museums and collections by external companies. Some records date to when Smithsonian Enterprises was known as Smithsonian Business Ventures (SBV), as well as date from before the creation of SBV when product development and licensing was managed by the Smithsonian's Office of Product Development and Licensing. Materials include contracts, agreements, correspondence, memoranda, samples, and other related materials.
