This accession consists of the Google+ account of the Biodiversity Heritage Library Consortium (BHL). BHL is a consortium of major natural history, botanical, and research libraries that cooperate to digitize and make accessible the literature of biodiversity held in their collections as a part of a global "biodiversity commons." Google+, which shut down in 2019, was a third-party social networking site used for interacting with the public and promoting the activities. The account only contained one post, dated April 4, 2016, at the time it was captured on August 22, 2018. Due to technical issues with the crawl, none of the links function properly and the full set of comments does not load. Materials are in electronic format.
