This accession consists of records created and maintained by Mary Augusta Thomas, Assistant Director of Management and Systems until 2002 and Associate Director of Reader Services and Strategic Planning, 2002-2009, documenting the curation of exhibitions and related publications. "Voyages: A Smithsonian Institution Libraries Exhibition" was on display at the Grolier Club in 2001. The exhibition was reworked and expanded under a new title, "Odyssey in Print: Adventures in the Smithsonian Libraries," for display in the Smithsonian Institution Libraries exhibit space at the National Museum of American History from 2002 through 2004. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, notes, exhibition drawings, label scripts, schedules, agreements, clippings, brochures, promotional materials, invitations, meeting minutes, speeches, and related materials.
