This accession consists of research data of Charles L. Gallegos, an environmental scientist specializing in phytoplankton, collected prior to his career at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Materials consist of handwritten underwater light data obtained using a portable radiometer at locations identified only by numbers and letters. Materials also include small amounts of related data, data analysis, data documentation, and notes.
