Descriptive Entry

Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of the "Q?rius" website, maintained by the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), Office of Education and Outreach, as it existed on October 12, 2018, shortly before the website was taken offline and the content incorporated into the NMNH website. Q?rius allows teens and tweens - and their families and educators - to connect science with everyday experiences. It is an interactive and experimental learning space that brings the unique assets of the museum - the science, researchers, and collections - out from behind the scenes. The website includes information about visiting Q?rius's physical space at the museum as well as educational activities and videos. It also includes "The Q? Blog" which launched in July 2014. Due to technical issues, some activities and videos are not included in this accession or do not function as expected. Materials are in electronic format.
