This accession consists of budget files for the former Office of the Assistant Secretary for History and Art, as well as the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Museums. The records include memoranda and correspondence pertaining to budget reviews and recommendations, opening positions for each fiscal year, requests for trust funds, federal salaries and expenses, and restoration and renovation development programs. They also include allocation distribution reports, progress reports and five year projections, and restricted gifts and foundation grant files.
