This accession consists of International Society for the History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Biology (ISHPSSB) records created and maintained by Jane Maienschein during her tenure as President of the Society. Materials document routine activities of the Society and planning for the 1991 meeting at Northwestern University. Also included are the records of Barbara L. Horan, Secretary of ISHPSSB and include reports, minutes, announcements for the Society's website and listserv, the Fall 1995 membership list, and a registration form and information sheet for Society meetings, 7/16-20/1997, in Seattle, Washington.
