This accession primarily documents the Native American Training Program in which Jane R. Glaser was Training Program Manager and James A. Hanson served as Training Program Coordinator. The purpose of the program was to assist Native American communities with establishing tribal museums and to provide guidance in regard to museum management, exhibition development, collections conservation, educational outreach, and fundraising. The records also document the Psychological Studies Program and other museum program activities such as workshops, seminars, and surveys. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; loan information; brochures; and study reports.
