This accession consists of memoranda and notes between staff members of the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) regarding office activities, job assignments, and personnel matters. Also included are reports, memoranda, and correspondence with other Smithsonian Institution offices and outside organizations regarding the Institution's affirmative action programs and initiatives, and the status of discrimination complaints. The records also contain reports and newsletters of other Smithsonian bureaus and outside organizations.
