This accession consists of records which document the administrative affairs of the National Museum of American History (NMAH), Office of the Director. Materials include the outgoing and incoming correspondence and memoranda of Roger G. Kennedy, Director, and Douglas E. Evelyn, Deputy Director; records pertaining to budget agendas, collections management, curatorial activities, fundraising, special events, product licensing and development, exhibition research and planning publications, collection acquisitions, loan of museum objects, internships, minutes of meetings, department and division reports, and asbestos removal; and photographs of the Museum.
