This accession consists of records which document docent activities of the National Museum of American Art (NMAA), Office of Museum Programs; but also included are files created during the years when the office title changed to the Office of Educational Programs (for further information about the title change, see Accession 91-061). The records consist of docent programs for visitors, regarding printmaking techniques and watercolor workshops; information pertaining to artists, walking tours, Black History Month, and exhibitions (in particular: Art from Appalachia, Where Shadows Live: Alice Pike Barney and Her Friends, and The Life and Art of William H. Johnson); docent group photographs, 1991-1992; tour confirmation lists; and brochures.
