These papers consist primarily of correspondence and project files documenting F. Raymond Fosberg's professional career as a botanist and biogeographer. Included are extensive files documenting his work on the Aldabra Research Subcommittee and the Flora of Ceylon Project. Also included is extensive correspondence with David R. Stoddart. The papers also contain correspondence of Fosberg's long-time colleague and collaborator Marie-Hélène Sachet; and photographs of Fosberg.
