This accession consists of two series of hardbound visitor comment books for the exhibition The Power of Maps, which was organized by the Cooper-Hewitt Museum and was shown there from October 5, 1992 until March 7, 1993. The exhibition was also shown in the Smithsonian Institution's International Gallery in Washington from November 9, 1993 until January 23, 1994. One series of books is from the Cooper-Hewitt showing, the other is from the International Gallery showing.
