These records consist of the files of Director Lloyd E. Herman (1974-1986) and Curator-in-Charge Michael Monroe (1986- ) of the Renwick Gallery, and document temporary exhibitions as well as the permanent collections of the Renwick Gallery. Also included are general office files (primarily those of Joanna Barton, Secretary, 1974-1983), which include incoming and outgoing staff correspondence, memoranda, exhibition schedules, notes, newspaper clippings, research files, photographs and publications. Meetings and reports files, and special events files are included, as are copies of Renwick Gallery staff time cards, and visitor statistics (1985-1988). Also included are copies of the "National Collection of Fine Arts and its Renwick Gallery Calendars of Events," 1973-1982, and a "List of Events at the Renwick," 1972.
