This accession consists of the correspondence and central administrative memoranda files of Elizabeth Broun, Director of the National Museum of American Art (NMAA), divided into fiscal years 1994 and 1995. The correspondence files are arranged alphabetically, while the memoranda are arranged chronologically. Indexes have been created for the memoranda files. In addition, the records contain a set of subject files created by the Office of the Director and dating from 1986 to 1996, which are arranged alphabetically.
