This accession consists of exhibition records from the office of Phyllis D. Rosenzweig, Associate Curator, and pertain to exhibition planning for the "WORKS" and "DIRECTIONS" contemporary art series at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Artists featured in the series include Thomas Struth, Laurence Weiner, Susana Solano, Daniel Buren, Krysztof Wodiczko, Sherrie Levine, Sol LeWitt, and Eva Hesse. Materials include correspondence and memoranda, biographical information about the artists, loan and contractual agreements, exhibition installation drawings, fundraising and budget information, and invitation lists to openings.
