Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of materials pertaining to the International Consultative Committee of the Authority for the Preservation of Moenjodaro, which was created under the aegis of UNESCO. Paul N. Perrot was involved in the oversight of this project, one of UNESCO's larger International Campaigns. The major goal of the Campaign was the construction of embankments and spurs and their revetments for a considerable stretch of the Indus River to prevent floods. The embankment was almost completely finished by 1997. Perrot was involved with the Committee from 1973 until the closing of the Campaign in the fall of 1997. Materials include correspondence, agendas, meeting minutes, reports, and newspaper clippings.
