At the February 11, 1936, Board of Directors meeting, it was decided to issue a monthly newsletter "for the purpose of keeping all in touch with the affairs of the organization," informing people of ways credit unions could be used, why they were formed, and how they protected depositors' shares. The newsletter also kept people abreast of personnel changes within the organization.
