These records consist primarily of incoming and outgoing correspondence compiled by the Division of Fishes, circa 1965-1978. Most of the correspondence is from ichthyologists, collectors, donors and students and concerns the identification, exchange and distribution of specimens, collecting work and requests for publications. Also found in the records are manuscript copies of annual report submissions, circa 1891-1972, and manuscript budget estimates, circa 1885-1974.
