These records consist of a miscellaneous collection of items, some of which predate the official existence of the Office of Public Affairs. Included are announcements, press releases, newspaper clippings, and catalogues on the Sao Paulo Bienale for 1967, 1969, and 1973; the sixth Biennial of Paris of 1969, and the Venice Biennial of 1968, 1970, and 1972. Also included is the audiotape and transcript of the ninetieth birthday party given for Adelyn Dohme Breeskin in 1986. In addition, the records contain two dissertations and a master's thesis entitled as follows: "Social Psychological Influences Upon the Expression and Inhibition of Curiosity," by Caryl Amsterdam Marsh, 1978; "America's Contemporary Craftsmen: A Way of Work, A Way of Life," by Alice Jane Kling, 1982; and "A Comparison of Two Methods for Creating Empathy with Art in Grade-school Children," by Judith Ellen Sobol, 1970.
