These papers consist of Peale's manuscript biography and a bibliography of Ferdinand Vandeveer Hayden which apparently was meant to be published as a Bulletin of the United States National Museum, but never was.

Historical Note

Historical Note
Albert Charles Peale (1849-1914) joined Ferdinand Vandeveer Hayden on the United States Geological and Geographical Survey of the Territories in 1871. In 1898, the United States National Museum appointed Peale as aid in charge of the paleobotany section of the Department of Geology, and he held that position until his death.
