Historical Note

Historical Note
Imre G. Izsak (1929-1965) joined the staff of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) in 1959 as a Celestial Mechanic in the Research and Analysis Section. In 1961, he was appointed Chief of the Research and Analysis Section. Izsak's primary fields of study were geodesy and celestial mechanics.
