Historical Note
Gordon Gordh (1945- ) received his B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1967, his M.A. from the University of Kansas in 1972, and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside in 1974. Gordh accepted a position in 1974 as a Research Entomologist at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Systematic Entomology Laboratory, located at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. He remained with the USDA until 1977, studying parasitic Hymenoptera from the super-family Chalcidoidea. In 1977, Gordh resigned from the Systematic Entomology Laboratory to take a job as Assistant Professor of Entomology at the University of California, Riverside.
