This collection consists of 84 watercolor paintings of Egyptian Bombyliids, or bee flies, executed by three Russian artists, Roman Strekalovsky, Nicholas Strekalovsky, and E. Kassessinoff. The paintings were done for a planned manuscript on the Bombyliids of Egypt by H. C. Efflatoun. Also included is a copy of Efflatoun's unpublished manuscript and photographs of the paintings. This collection was previously described as Record Unit 1020011, R. Strekalovsky Drawings, circa 1940.
