Catalogs cover a wide range of consumer goods, including home furnishings, books, musical instruments, toys, men's and women's apparel, jewelry, A/V materials, firearms, art , hobby crafts and gifts.

Biographical/Historical note

Saul E. Zalesch, an Associate Professor of Art History at Louisiana Tech University, began collecting mail-order catalogs in 1993 while an NEH fellow at the Winterthur Library.
