Footage taken Howard J. Hawthorne, a Navajo, of various North American southwest and Mexican scenes including Gallup Ceremonials (1941, 1942, 1952, 1953); Navajo Fair and rodeo (1952); sheep herding, skinning and slaughtering (1941); Canyon de Chelly (1946); Lee Ferry Country and Grand Canyon (1950); bodies of two dead indians possibly in Mexico (1941); Mexico City (1941); and Painted Desert and Hard Rock Mountain (ca. 1953). Footage possibly includes Bert Pausma (uncertain spelling), a self-appointed evangelist, lecturing a group of Navajo.
