Scope and Contents
This manuscript consists of five texts by Sam Peters in Meskwaki syllabary, with translations by Horace Poweshiek. The titles of the first two texts can be translated as "A story about the Fish Clan" and "When Wîsahkêha handed down a sacred pack." The last three texts are an untitled story about the prophecies of Smooth Belly; an untitled story about Prairie Dog; and an untitled winter story involving a transformation flight (a version of the story William Jones titled "Daughters of Mesōswa").
